CRD66-4096R4096C2Z01 is a model of absolute encoder from TWK Corporation. It is not a standard-sized encoder, making it relatively difficult to procure. At least, that's the case for my client.
My metallurgical client uses it on extrusion machines, and to resolve the application issue, they came to me for a solution. I provided an alternative solution to meet the equipment's operational requirements.
Firstly, this is an absolute encoder with Profibus-DP communication. I can manufacture this type of encoder, replicating the same working parameters. Then, a flange of the same size can be custom-produced on a machining center. In this way, a new encoder is created.
A new alternative absolute encoder is thus born. The installation dimensions and application parameters are 1:1, which is very user-friendly. My client no longer has to worry, and I can continue to provide the necessary spare parts.
