The CEV65M-00025 is a Parallel Push absolute encoder introduced by TR. This model has been around for a few years, and it poses some difficulty in substitution, mainly due to the less common 39-pin connector that came out later.
When we receive inquiries for substitution, the most critical aspect we focus on is the connector part, followed by the communication protocol.
This encoder features a clamping flange, with a 10mm shaft diameter and a 36mm boss. There is nothing particularly special about the installation size. The only thing that needs attention is the rear-facing connector: 39pin.
We have accepted the commission for this encoder, and the Parallel Push communication protocol is something we are well-versed in. The resolution is 4096*4096, which is a standard parameter. As long as we produce the corresponding 65mm flange through the machining center and install it on a 58mm housing, the substitution solution is complete.
It seems that the substitution solution for the CEV65M-00025 is not very complicated. This is mainly because we already have some of the basics, such as the internal circuit design, which is already semi-finished, and can be quickly completed after technical processing.
The substitution solution for this encoder is one of the simpler ones we have done recently. Solving the connector issue is enough; we will wire according to the original wiring definition. In this way, the substitutes everyone receives can be used seamlessly.
For us, developing a substitution solution is not a very good choice. The main reason is the small quantity; most of the time, people do substitutions in batches of three to five units. However, we can still solve problems for everyone. This is our company's mission: to solve customer application issues.
