Today, we are introducing two absolute encoders, namely AR63/1212EL.92SGB and AR62/0012EL.72SG8. These are products from two different series, AR63 and AR62, respectively. The distinction between these two products lies in the material of their housings, with one being made of stainless steel and the other of aluminum alloy.
A few days ago, a customer urgently needed to procure AR63/1212EL.92SGB and also required several units of AR62/0012EL.72SG8. Unable to find them through various sources, they inquired about alternative products. In reality, AR63/1212EL.92SGB is a non-standard product, and there are certainly limited stocks available on the market.
The dimensions of these two encoders are identical, both featuring a 58mm housing size and a shaft diameter of 10mm, with an SSI communication protocol. They are considered standard encoders, for which we have a complete alternative solution. For the stainless steel product, the process simply involves additional machining for the stainless steel housing.
The 58mm series of SSI absolute encoders are our standard products, for which we have comprehensive solutions and no additional development is required. We quickly completed the delivery of this batch of commissioned encoders, with the aluminum alloy version being completed within three days at the fastest.
The speed of this delivery batch was so fast that the customers were quite surprised. After all, it is relatively difficult to procure stainless steel encoders, and they did not expect us to complete it within a week.
There are not many of these two nominal alternative products, and most are purchased by ship repair companies. Today, I also want to make a note of this, as products with less demand may be more difficult for everyone to find.
Yesterday, a netizen sent a message asking about the minimum order quantity; non-standard product orders are not large. For example, the two products recorded today total less than 20 units.
Today is Sunday, so I will write here.
